Room smelled horrible. Wouldn’t give us a receipt upon checkout. The morning attendant was rude. I will never use that hotel again.

I was traveling with my kids to Texas. We know the area so this hotel was perfect location to what we needed. The 2nd evening of it stay we looked for a vending machine as my daughter wanted water. We ended up at front desk where they had a mini market. Went to front desk to purchase the ways and the hotel concierge asked if I wanted it billed to room instead. I said yes, sure. Went upstairs to our room and fell asleep. At 1:30 IN THE MORNING the hotel phone rings. I let it go thinking it might be wrong number. Rings again and again. Finally I get up and answer. It's the hotel asking me to come down to the lobby to pay for Waters. I said at 1:30 in the morning you are asking me to come pay for Waters I already paid for? The concierge said yes and I asked him why they would call at 1:30 in the AM!? He finally tells me his boss made him (I could hear Mr Gupta in the background giving instruction on what to say. I was legitimately scared. I'm traveling alone with my children. I think I've already settled my bill by taking the hotel up on offer to charge room and they want me to come to lobby at 1:30am. NO WAY! I packed up my kids and we left the hotel. In no way was I going to risk a few men coming to knock on our door and we are traveling alone. It was extremely frightening and I was not willing to take the risk at that point. We left the hotel and I then called them. The manqger/owner said "you weren't afraid" I said sir you don't get to tell me how I felt. He offered the hote

It was storming. The clerk checked us in fatty Ann's effeciently. Room was very comfortable, so comfortsble we overslept and missed breakfast.

Expected a little more. My sheet had two stains on them, the fitting sheet was half on. The covers was wrinkle which made me think they just made the bed up. So I went out to Walmart to get cover to put on top of the bed. In the bath room the hot water knob was cold so my water was off balance, fixed that then I just wanted to relax in a tub of water but the water kept running out. I picked a non smoking room yet cirigrattes was all over the sidewalks and by the elevators. The best part of staying here was the food at Denny's they gave me a percentage off for staying here.
