I have pictures Paint Peeling Dull Damaged Plaster. Unsanitary!!! Unsafe Unkept I Retired From A Major Airline. Been in the travel business over 30 years. I Have Never Ever Seen Anything Like 6 Acres. No way I would eat there. I Only Stayed. Because My Best Friend Was Getting Married. And I drove from GA. So I visit all my friends. Go to Turkey Farm to pick up a Bird I had processed. I Will Never Use Expedia Again. The pictures are a LIE!!!
I have Many more pictures. This was the vent in the Bath Room!! I have Asthma. I felt sick And left the Reception early. Some friends came to get me to go out for a dinner with the Groom. They were Shocked! To see the Condition of that Dump!!! I
No Toilet Paper Holder. How many Butts were Wiped. Sticking Fingers in or outside of the Toilet Paper Roll.. HORRIBLE!!!

Beautiful home, amazing history. Loved Charles the innkeeper. Very clean, wonderful breakfast. A few things could be updated, for instance cracked light swtich cover in bathroom and mount for hairdryer that is no longer there. could be removed.....a few other small things, but add up to a slightly worn feel. However, like I said, very clean and beautiful and having a caring, attentive innkeeper in house is wonderful! Very special. Will return.

Great historic home with a good story to tell and history to preserve. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the small size of the bedroom and poor lighting for reading in bed; bathroom door would not close all the way. Breakfast not served until 9:30 so we did not wait around either day we were there.

Wonderful property and wonderful staff who treat guests like family! This place needs to be on the National Historic Register due to its importance as part of the underground railroad. Hugely important in not just Cincinnati's history, but our shared human history. Love this place! Its an honor to get to stay here.

This is a unique and historically significant property as it was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Charles, the host, will lovingly tell you all about it! My family and I felt welcomed and enjoyed the communal breakfast with a wedding party that was also staying there. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a schmancy spa-type place. Do come if you love people, history and supporting local small businesses.

Charles was a gracious host. He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and always had a smile on his face and friendly conversation. This property is far enough away from downtown to avoid the hustle and bustle but close enough that getting down there when you want to is no problem. Charles also gave us great directions to get downtown with almost zero traffic. Breakfast was great! I would gladly stay here again.
