Our room was dirty and when I let them know they said they would have some one come clean it but all they did was leave more towels and remake beds. They then started construction first thing in the morning and you needed hearing protection but they never informed us of anything happening so we switched hotels. We still haven’t been contacted by a manger.

When I arrived the staff was unable to find my reservation. After a 30 minute wait the manager found it and we checked in to our room. The room was still dirty, some lights didn’t work, stains on the couch, floor lifting, broken cabinets, marker all over the bathroom door, and then our balcony door wouldn’t close. We weren’t able to connect to the WiFi. I went to the front desk to try and get it fixed only to find out that my reservation was still not under my name. I requested to speak with the manager who had an attitude when I brought my concerns to him. There were kids running around yelling and fighting. We weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast because it was so much chaos. The pool was overcrowded and we couldn’t get in. The ceiling in the lobby was flooding for 2 days and started falling in. Overall I was not pleased with my stay at all. For all of my inconveniences I received 2 complimentary appetizers.

The good and the bad

There were about 20-25 kids that ran and played very loudly all day until 10-11 at night in the lobby. They were very loud and we were inside our room. There was loud rumbling both nights in the walls and I later found out it was because the pipes had broken in several rooms. I called the front desk, went to the front desk and messaged on the app for face towels Sat morning. I never received them. I however received a text 45 mins after we checked out that they were on their way up with the towels. Went to the bar for the complimentary drinks. The bar tender took one look at us without even asking anything and said you are in the wrong place. Free drinks are over there. He was loud and we were very embarrassed. The positive to this stay that check in was very quick and easy and Yvette was a delight. Very friendly. Also Matthew was very helpful and friendly at check out. The room was beautiful and clean

Disappointing

I have heard good things from others about Embassy Suites, but this stay was disappointing. The room was in disrepair with worn out furniture, mold in the bathrooms, and stains on the walls and lampshade. The only upside was the breakfast was great and staff was very friendly.

The two tv remotes never worked and the fridge only worked the last night i was there. It seems that it was unplugged. However, after the technician left, it made a continuous noise that never let up. That's probably why the last person unplugged it. The staff, however, was excellent and very cordial !!

Overall very disappointing

On first impression the hotel was beautiful, I was very pleased upon initial impression, but that didn’t last long. To begin, they checked us into a dirty room, there were dirty towels and trash everywhere. I was able to get a new room, I didn’t let that bother me, mistakes happen and it was quickly resolved. I had reserved 2 nights on two separate reservations because we decided to come a night earlier, so when checking in I was sure to ask if it was possible for us to be in the same room both nights and was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem. With this information, we got comfortable in the room, unpacked our things and ordered food for the couple nights we would be there. Come the next morning, on our way out to our plans for the day, I stopped at the front desk to make sure we were still ok to stay in the room. They said we would be moved to a different room and the hotel was full so they could not accommodate that. So, we had to repack everything and load it back in the car and waste food that was bought because we didn’t have a cold place to store it. Then bring it all back in at the next check in time later that day. This was very frustrating considering we had 3 small kids and would not have done as much to get comfortable previously if I would have just been told to begin with that we wouldn’t be able to stay in the same room. The hallways were extremely messy at all times, I have stayed at places for 1/2 the price that were better at cleanliness.

Clean; but broken down beds.

Our room was clean and had everything needed, the lobby and breakfast area were clean, breakfast buffet was fresh and tasted great. Beds were terrible. Both had large indents in them where they were broken down which led to decreased sleep and pain.

A lot of noise after midnight, parents partying after midnight bringing in their own alcohol staff overlooked. Grade school kids/parents using the main area which is fine but staff didn’t clean up. Bottles and glasses left behind. Very inconsiderate to other guests. Staff should have been more on top of it. Probably won’t be back.
