"The room we stayed in was extremely dirty and from the window you can see about 6 homeless people sleeping . There was also police activity and a guy arrested during our stay unsure the reasoning but we didn’t feel safe at this property at all ."

"We really enjoyed this old landmark hotel in San Diego. Nicely located to the theatre and other places. I would recommend it if you like older hotels with character. Rooms are on the smaller side but still nice and worth the money."

"We stayed here to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The pros: Amazing views from the 10th floor facing the San Diego Bay. We were able to check in a couple hours early and the parking was close to the room. The shower was also very nice. The cons: the parking, it was way overpriced at $50 a night and there was no warming or advanced notice. The bed was also very hard. Overall, the location and views were 5 stars."
