Pure St. Croix

Pros: Everyone who worked there were extremely pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. The patio off our room was 10 yards from the ocean. So the view wasgreat
Cons: Due to being so close to the ocean the salt has eroded some of the metals and the outside door knobs. I felt this should've been better maintained
Location: we took the Sweeney safari tour and had a great time
We were looking for a resort that was small and quaint and we sure found it!

Great beach access/views

The room itself was okay, but not great (scratchy sheets, finicky faucets, and the like). However, the view and access to the beach were fantastic. The food at the restaurant was good too.

Affordable oceanfront room

Not easy to find this hotel located deep inside a very poor neighborhood. Kind of a scary drive to get there. Look for the Gas City and turn there because the sign to hotel is the size of a postcard and pretty weathered. Tennis courts are not like advertised. They are not useable. Nets are torn and doesn't look like it's been maintained for a long time. Staff is not very talkative but no locals on island really is. Room service did bring what I asked for very quickly and very polite. Beaches needed to be tended to. There was trash all around and sea grass. Restauant was not great. Food was overpriced and not very good. Service there was good though. Basically if you want a cheap room that is a stones throw from the ocean this is the place. However you will have to drive out to really experience the beauty the island has to offer.

A very nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: I liked everything about this hotel. The food was excellent, the bar was great, swimming pool very nice, comfortable beds, the beach was right there.
Cons: This hotel needs no improvement.
Location: Shopping, tour the cruzan rum factory, Divi casino, snorkeling and scuba diving.
Julie at the check in counter was very helpful about where to go and what to see. All the staff was very nice, greatly appreciated the hotels taxi driver Maurice. He was very knowledgeable about everything on the island and its history. This was just a great place to stay.

Great Resort and Staff

Where to even begin with this resort? The list of PROs can go on and on. For starters, the staff is extremely friendly! Anything that you need or any information about the island that you might be interested in, they'll help you out wholeheartedly. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily, fresh flowers are given each day, toiletries are replaced daily, and the view from the room is breathtaking. Waking up to the view of the beach every morning is definitely something you're going to miss after the trip. The resort itself is very large. It comes with its own bar on the property, along with a large dining area. The bartenders here are so very friendly and incredibly fast. The pool is very nice and quite deep. The water at the beach here is very clear and quite warm. And to top it off, there is a reef right along the resort, so snorkeling is definitely a must here. The resort offers a complimentary snorkeling tour guided by the resort owner himself, Chuck. He is such a great, friendly guy! Caribbean night here is every Monday night and it is definitely something that you need to experience. It's very fun, the food is great, the entertainment is fantastic, and you get to meet a lot of great people! There's so many more great things to be said about this resort, but you should definitely experience it for yourself. On a quick side note: definitely take insect repellant (those Caribbean insects definitely want a bite out of you) and rent a car. With a car, you co

The best the Caribbean has to offer!

There is nothing negative to be said about this place. I've stayed here on two separate occasions, and each experience has been unbelievably spectacular. The staff is very friendly, the service is above expectations, and the accommodations were incredible!

Very comfortable and clean hotel, can't beat the view!

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Loved this hotel. I had no idea about any hotels and after reading reviews I picked the Palm. The hotel was super clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and the location couldn't be better. Only thing is you should rent a car if you are staying anywhere on the island! I would recommend this hotel!
