Dec 25, 2019

Planes are too small, uncomfortable due to person ahead with seat reclined....water had chemical taste....staff was good.

Dec 24, 2019

The male baggage handler loading my bag (the one I offered to check to free up overhead space) was condescending and disrespectful to me - but this wasn’t Delta staff

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Red Deer

Your adventure to Red Deer kicks off as soon as you've completed all the security checks. We've summarized a few handy tips to help you pass through quickly:

  • Keep your travel ID and boarding pass in an easily accessible place. They'll be the first things you'll be asked for by security personnel.
  • It's important to know that belts with metal buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you're wearing one, you may be told to remove it before moving forward.
  • Electronic goods such as phones, laptops and cameras will need to be put through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're within easy reach.
  • Flying with your favorite cologne or perfume? As long as it's no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and it's stored in a clear resealable plastic bag, you can keep it in your carry-on luggage.
  • Airport security personnel will likely tell you to remove your shoes in preparation for entering the body scanner. Wear a pair that you can take off easily. There's nothing more tiresome than having to do your laces up again and again.
  • Some countries have strict biosecurity laws. Think about where you're going to and whether or not you're permitted to fly with fresh fruit and meat.
