Frequently asked questions
Flights To Brussels
Flights to Brussels Airport (BRU) give you the chance to view one of the must-see European cities from the air, including the impressive European Parliament buildings. Although not as big as some of the capitals of the world, Brussels has plenty of attractions. Source cheap tickets to Brussels through Travelocity, and enjoy sampling the handmade fresh chocolates and the many varieties of Belgian beer.
Transportation From BRU
Fly into BRU and go straight to one of the car rental desks that are situated in the Arrivals hall if you wish to hire a car. Alternatively, walk out of the Arrivals area and find a taxi marked with a blue and yellow emblem, which designates it as a licensed cab. Trains leave the airport railway station -- located at Basement Level 1, below the air terminal -- at a rate of six per hour. Once you've bought your tickets, you can travel to Brussels Midi, Brussels North, and Brussels Central stations; the journey to Central takes 17 minutes. Catch a bus from Level 0, which is one floor below Arrivals. Many of the hotels near Brussels airport offer free shuttle services, and leave from the airport coach park on Level 0, Platform E. Once you're settled in your hotel, take a walk along one of the walking trails around the city. Walk along the second wall of Brussels, stroll around the old harbor, or amble through some of the city's many museums. One of the must-sees is the Comic Strip Museum, where you'll view Tintin comics and learn about other European comic books. The Grand Place or central square of Brussels has a history that reaches back to the tenth century, and the fantastically ornate guildhalls make excellent photo opportunities.
Explore the European Village of Brussels
