Excellent spot on the edge of town

The hotel was lovely, just outside the city centre, but easy to walk to the main sights, restaurants, etc. Quick to get to from the Gare du Midi. Some reviewers complained about the neighbourhood, but we thought it was fine - it's not very touristy, but you only have to cross the main road and walk a little to get to anything you need. And there are a couple of good restaurants right on the same square. Decor was stylish, breakfast was good, and staff helpful.

Highly recommend staying here. Fantastic place for a great price. We loved the decor. Everything was new and fresh. The place was clean. Breakfast was fine - both hot and cold options available. Location was great as it was a walkable distance to Brussels Midi train station and to the centre. Staff were polite and welcoming. If I could only pick on one thing I would have liked the toilet to be cleaned and the floors swept / hoovered as part of our room service rather than just having the bins emptied, beds made and towels changed. Also, the coffee pods have not been replaced which was a shame.

Confortable and close to Brussels MIDI

The hotel was amazing, comfortable beds and steps away from the train station. However, it was far from the old town and not in the nicest part of town. There was construction on the main road that made it a bit difficult to get to by car and not much around at night

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the amenities provided made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. We also loved the on-site facilities and restaurant, which served delicious food. Es la segunda vez que me hospedo en este hotel ambas veces con familia con niños. Está muy cerca de la estación de Bruselas Midi y a pasos de una estación del metro. Es muy conveniente para visitar los mercados navideños y para hacer excusiones de un día a otras ciudades de Bélgica. El único problema es que la zona de Bruselas Midi siempre parece insegura, como muchas otras grandes estaciones en Francia o Italia. Hay personas deambulando o personas durmiendo en la calle o la estación. Pero fuera de eso el hotel tiene excelentes habitaciones familiares y un buen desayuno. Y todo está ordenado u muy limpio.

Great hotel and person at reception was very friendly and welcoming (Taiwanese guy). Although the hotel is a fairly convenient walk into the centre of Brussels the area around the hotel is a little dodgy and dirty (as is the case with hotels near trains stations in any city!). This shouldn't deter anyone from choosing to stay at Urban Yard, I found it great!

Brussels near everything

Comfortable area not the greatest due to a shelter a few block down,in reality we never felt unsafe but excellent location 10 minutes walks to international train station , 15 minutes walk to the center of brussels. Great vibe and good buffet breakfast
