Flight Review

Mar 9, 2020

Not enough leg room for an international flight

Mar 2, 2020

Delta has come a long way. I havent flew with them since about 5 yrs. But their online customer service operations are still crawling. I submitted a change of name application 3 weeks ago, no action as of yet. I couldn't claim my miles as of yet as a result. Improving in many aspects is not enough Delta. Thx!

No food or drink on a 4-hour early morning flight!! Very poor service.

One free baggage check would be nice but

Dec 29, 2019

The only thing I was not satisfied with was that I had to pay $60 for my luggage which was supposed to be free according to what was mentioned when I bought my tickets.

Dec 26, 2019

Good flight

Dec 18, 2019

Email saying time of flight was changed was COMPLETELY wrong. Scared and confused me.

Dec 11, 2019

On time flight.

Sep 8, 2019

Good service and experience overall.

Aug 11, 2019

The service during the flight was great. We did have to pay $60 for each bag we checked in which I thought was expensive.

Aug 1, 2019

They accommodated our seats. My husband and I got separate seats and they were able to place is together.

Jul 30, 2019

A simple cup of water during the flight would be nice... do you really need to be so cheap

Places to visit in Brussels

So many things to do and so little time. If you're keen to discover the best of this city, add La Grand Place, and Manneken Pis Statue to your travel itinerary. If you get the chance, stop by Museum of Musical Instruments, and Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium too.

Arrange for a guided tour of Royal Palace of Brussels, a local historical gem and among the area's unmissable sights. Need some more ideas? Need some time out from the flurry and fuss of city life? Go to Brussels Park, an urban sanctuary. And that's not all there is. Spend the morning strolling down Avenue Louise, a must-see local road.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Brussels

Make your flight to Brussels that little bit easier by reading over these clever security tips:

  • Make sure you know the whereabouts of your passport and boarding pass. You don't want to hold up the queue when you're asked to hand them over.
  • It's important to know that belts with metal buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you have one on, you may be asked to take it off before proceeding.
  • Laptops and other electronic devices must be placed in separate bins to be X-rayed.
  • Traveling with a new cologne or perfume? As long as it's no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and it's stored in a clear resealable plastic bag, you can keep it in your carry-on luggage.
  • Airport security staff may instruct you to remove your shoes for the body scanner. Choose a pair that come off easily. There's nothing more annoying than having to do your laces up over and over again.
  • The list of prohibited items is forever changing. Check with your airline's official website to learn about what is not allowed on board their aircraft.

Flights To Brussels

Flights to Brussels Airport (BRU) give you the chance to view one of the must-see European cities from the air, including the impressive European Parliament buildings. Although not as big as some of the capitals of the world, Brussels has plenty of attractions. Source cheap tickets to Brussels through Travelocity, and enjoy sampling the handmade fresh chocolates and the many varieties of Belgian beer.

Transportation From BRU

Fly into BRU and go straight to one of the car rental desks that are situated in the Arrivals hall if you wish to hire a car. Alternatively, walk out of the Arrivals area and find a taxi marked with a blue and yellow emblem, which designates it as a licensed cab. Trains leave the airport railway station -- located at Basement Level 1, below the air terminal -- at a rate of six per hour. Once you've bought your tickets, you can travel to Brussels Midi, Brussels North, and Brussels Central stations; the journey to Central takes 17 minutes. Catch a bus from Level 0, which is one floor below Arrivals. Many of the hotels near Brussels airport offer free shuttle services, and leave from the airport coach park on Level 0, Platform E. Once you're settled in your hotel, take a walk along one of the walking trails around the city. Walk along the second wall of Brussels, stroll around the old harbor, or amble through some of the city's many museums. One of the must-sees is the Comic Strip Museum, where you'll view Tintin comics and learn about other European comic books. The Grand Place or central square of Brussels has a history that reaches back to the tenth century, and the fantastically ornate guildhalls make excellent photo opportunities.
