Transportation from MPH and KLO
Travelers arriving on Boracay flights land at two possible airports. Boracay itself is just a short ferry ride from the northwest tip of Panay Island and its airport, Godofredo P. Ramos, also called Caticlan. However, most travelers fly into Kalibo International, about two and a half hours from Boracay, ferry included. From Ramos airport, take a tricycle passenger cab or walk to the Caticlan Jetty Port, where you'll get on a boat to Boracay. Kalibo International is able to handle much larger passenger loads. Options for getting to the jetty port include a minivan, van, coaster, or bus; some transportation tickets also include ferry travel to the island. You may need to wait up to 30 minutes if you plan to take a minivan, since they fill quickly. However, it will never be long before you arrive in Boracay! There will be plenty of tricycles waiting, so take a ride in one to the many wonderful hotels in Boracay. Ditch the luggage, and immerse yourself in the wondrous paradise that is Boracay. Swim in the crystal clear water, soak in the night life, and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.
