"Definitely a great place to stay during your visit to Bucaramanga. The rooms are great, the roof top restaurants are also great, the pool is small but adequate to the size. There is a mall next to the hotel, very convenient. I highly recommend El Cacique Holiday Inn."

Budget hotel, don't expect ccomfort or luxury
"Stayed a night before in the single room and it was bad. The private room with an attached bathroom is much better. Bed is more comfortable but clearly the pillows are lumpy and the extra blanket is a blues clue's kids blanket. Floor is dusty and linens have lots of small stains. New ones? Old ones? ..."

"The property was very clean. However just realize that it’s a very outdated hotel. If no better hotels are available, you’re probably better off just renting an airbnb to be honest. Staff were kind but the hotel had some strange regulations and customs. They charge you to have friends come to your room for a brief visit, for example. Felt like I was being watched. Power was out one night for many hours, no backup generator, room became unbearably hot. Overall just kind of a strange experience."
