Everything was pretty much fine except ehen i got my express check out ot was charging ne for my room. I talked with the front desk and she ummediately gave me a new bill wothout the room and the parking. Well when i checked my credit card the final charge went thru withthe room and the pa th king and Travelocity also charge me. Now i am on vacation overseas and how do i handle that problem. I called it to the attention of the hotel and they didn't correct it. I tried calling them. International long distance and i got a recording there phone system was down.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room on the 10th floor had a wonderful view.
Not for people traveling by car
We were traveling by rented car. The only place to park (if you got there in time for a space) was along a skinny, steep alleyway behind the hotel that only sometimes had space to turn around. Our room was up one floor, down a narrow hallway, through 4 sets of doors and down 3 sets of steps. We could not drop off our luggage out front, we had to drag it from the car, up the skinny alleyway, and around to the entryway and then through the obstacle course already described. I have no complaints about the hotel staff. They were as helpful as they could be. The hotel is located in an expensive part of town. Breakfast is an additional charge of over 13 GBP (if you make reservations when you check in) and restaurants in the area are pretty expensive. I was really only looking for a hotel that put me close to the Bristol Airport. I should have picked one that was further away from the downtown part of the city.
Over sized rooms for the UK.
Rooms were larger than expected which is a nice change while traveling. Everything in the room was well laid out and included all amenities. The Grill Bar staff that we had was inexperienced. They add a discretionary 12.5% service charge to the bill which is kind of funny as that doesn't translate into discretionary....... it is more like mandatory.
