This was our first stay here. On arrival staff were pleasant & accomodating and the hotel was visually appealing, with some free minibar items provided in the room. After the first night i was kept awake by a noise around what i believed to be the window area, which i could still hear above the air conditioner. I have trouble sleeping anyway and had requested a quite room. The next day i raised the noise with the desk, after friends came to the room and they could hear it as well , by this stage i had turned the air con off. Engineers looked at the room whilst we were out and believed they found the issue to be plastic in the aircon. Problem fixed, sadly NO. The noise persisted and staff offered to relocate us to a city view room , which was much larger, but this time you could hear the road below. We opted to stay in our allocated room. I have to wonder if perhaps it is the design of the building, that causes the wind noise as the buildings seem to be around a coutryard entertainment area. Not sure if all rooms in tower two in the same position suffer the same fate.I also noted that even though there was houskeeping and the beds were made, i could tell the sheets and pillow cases were not changed during our 3 day stay, as my pillow case had make up from a nap on my first day. Not sure if this is normal practice, on another day the full bins were not emptied in the room. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but i chose to give an honest review to assist others after my experiences
