There needs to be a bigger and better coffee machine for guests, it failed twice within an hour. Food was ok but not a huge variety especially healthier options. The omelette station is a great idea. Staff were friendly. Room was not very clean, dusty and had old puke stains on the carpet and part of the wall near my bed. The beds and pillows were very comfy and that alone was the best part.

Adequate stay. Pros: - 10min walk to Southbank and QPac - pool onsite (but still too cold for us in the middle of Summer as it doesn’t get much sunlight) - Friendly staff at check in Cons: - Food - the buffet was just OK and the calamari we ordered was overcooked/inedible at the onsite restaurant - No parking avail onsite (‘at capacity’), so had to walk with young kids and suitcases to and from the convention centre and pay $30/day - body hairs still visible in shower corners

The breakfast selection was disappointing and the wait for basics such as bacon and eggs were too long. There was one pancake machine with a long line and then out of mixture. The room was excellent. Spacious, very clean and comfortable. Room service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely go back, but probably go to a local cafe for breakfast.

Lesser room type provided than what was booked. Staff became rude when I told them I used tap to pay. Weird intercom broadcast to the rooms to move our car from the loading zone less than 2 minutes after we received our room key. Checkout took 15 minutes and multiple staff because they couldn’t operate their computer. The only exit to Southbank from the hotel entrance is through the designated smoking area.

very typical modern hotel with a twist, whoever the designer / architect / consultants were that came up with the design for the bathrooms needs a good kick up the behind & fed to the sharks. why would anyone think that retractable walls, a glass sliding door that can only cover either the WC or the shower at a time & a night light for the bathroom that can only be switched on/off from from the far side of the bed & will always be seen from the bedroom is acceptable. If you prefer to live in ignorance of your partners ablutions there is prob better hotels for you, if uv been worn down after years together with no secrets left to be discovered u cant go wrong Other than that the hotel itself & all staff were excellent & in good location.
