Upon check-in, the front desk attendant was fairly rude and seemed angry that a local resident booked a room. If you don’t want my money, I won’t come back, but to say that no hotel in Springfield would rent a room to a local (something they actually said) is laughable. And the A/C in the room was not working properly.

A welcome step-up from recent stays at Hampton Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses that used to be our go-to motels. However, the top sheet was so thin and flimsy it felt old, and the bottom sheet was badly ‘pilled’ (like an old sweater). Time to pitch those and invest in new sheets. But everything else was very comfortable and nice.
