Check-in was quick with the Hilton app. Front desk clerk was friendly when we asked for additional towels and blankets. As noted by the hotel, they are undergoing renovations. The renovations that were completed show a lot of promise. The room we stayed in had yet to be remodeled but was still clean and comfortable. It was showing some wear and tear though - hence the remodel. We were on the 1st floor and it was quiet the entire evening. The pool was closed when we were there on 6/21. Surprised that score was so high. Solid but not spectacular. Breakfast buffet was miniscule and ran out of staple items early. Hotel was clean but under renovation. Many of amenities (pool and fitness center) were not accessible. Room was very clean although another member of our group did not have a clean room and switched hotels.

Property is under construction which is not an issue. Problem is that the staff cannot check you in easily due to blocked rooms. Waited a 1/2 hour for check in. And this was in Vestal NY, not exactly a popular destination!

The stay was very good but I was disappointed that the pool was closed and I wasn’t informed. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because it had a pool. But other than that it was a great stay
