Great but not excellent

I liked my stay at Crowne Plaza. The hotel facilities are top notch, but my room in particular seemed used and abused. It was clean but just needed a paint job and some deep cleaning in the bathroom (tiles, for example), but it was manageable! The best part for me was actually its proximity to shopping and highways—that was helpful. I’d stay here again, but it wouldn’t be my #1 choice!

We had 4 people in the room and only had towels for 3 no matter how many times we asked. The first third and fourth day they didnt make the bed or do any cleaning other than removing trash. Overall the trip was made worse by staying in this hotel!

The property was clean and comfortable. The dining was very limited though the person staffing the breakfast was very pleasant and kind. I do not like the policy of automatically charging an additional $50 to my credit card to hold for 7 business days when we had a one night stay and pre paid the room. That really is a turn off. Hold my card number but do not charge me and hold the charge for a week when I didn't purchase any incidentals or break anything. It was nice and clean though.
