The Old Ginn House Inn
"It has 4 Start rating but unclear why it’s that high. Checking in, staff member didn’t seem particularly interested. Had to prompt guidance on how to get to my room. Dinner was fine. Hetland Hall Hotel
"Stayed at the hotel a few years ago and we were very pleasantly surprised with the improvements that have been made. We had a lovely quiet room on the first floor overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was very good on both mornings and we had dinner each evening which was excellent. Lovely menu and served piping hot. One thing we found strange that the drinks tray in the room had coffee, tea, sugar, lovely biscuits but only one hot chocolate. We both fancied a hot chocolate at bedtime but were disappointed to find only one It was quite warm in our room, but I found a fan on the shelf in the wardrobe. Unfortunately when I plugged it in and switched it on I got a face full of dust. Just minor niggles but small things can make a big difference."
