Great breakfast. Terrific location to and from the train station. Clean, quiet. No wash cloths or bed sheet. Just duvet. Not thrilled with their choice of not having this available.

Building work outside the hotel which started at 7.45am on Friday and woke us up. Lots of builders staying at the hotel so from 6am, doors slamming as they got up. They really should have told us about this. Not a good nights sleep at all

The property was of good standing , of course could do with a few upgrades ( painting etc) but couldn't fault the staff, always helpful , like to have a bit more say in the temp of the room , too hot for us , but that's a moot point . All in all a good place to stay

The hotel could certainly do with an update. One of the handles in the bath was loose and would have come off if i had used it to get out of the bath. The seal around the bath looked like it had been put on with a trowel and wasn't very clean. There was no cover on the back of the remote control and the batteries kept falling out.

Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Room was dirty,old and extremely warm. Room had stains on walls and ceiling. Headboard had never been cleaned. Bathroom was mix 70s style and colour very worn bath and antique shower

The stay was fine for the one night stopover we needed. Comfortable bed and clean room. Unfortunately they don’t offer food in the evenings but not sure if that’s the case all the time.
