"The Front staff /mangers were great , they work so hard doing everything! They stored our bikes, they cleaned rooms, they used their own phone to help us get our bikes locked up when they were away from the desk. The rooms are way too hot. I think they may need AC as the climate warms up, sooner than later! They building is old and you can hear everything above you. No insulation in the walls and floors it seems - so hard to sleep. The food situation next door use to be great! It was way too expensive for hardly any food. Why not serve toast when you pay for eggs for breakfast. I had "fruit and yogurt w/granola". I got 3 tiny slices of an apple and jam. Jam is not fruit. It is summer, this is when fruit is in season! Please be more generous."

There's a trail right in the back of the hotel that takes you along the water and the views are fantastic. Pros/cons: Seals. There are a lot in the water and on the rocks outside, which is really charming and adds to the overall atmosphere. Cons = Seals. They are quite loud and if you are a light sleeper, you will need earplugs. We were able to manage by making sure the windows were closed and by pulling down the shades and curtains to buffer. Once that was done, the noise was actually fine and sounded like marine noise/seagulls in the background. We'd definitely stay here again."
