I booked this hotel for my girlfriend, Viktoriia Shatalova, who was travelling from Mexicali, Mexico to Mexico City, Mexico and then on to Amsterdam with a 20 hour layover before continuing on to Minsk and finally, to her final destination of Kharkov, Ukraine. When arriving in Amsterdam she was informed that that she could not leave the airport due to corona virus restrictions. This fact eliminated her ability to use the booked hotel. I understand this is not the hotel's problem, BUT they, or someone SHOULD have notified, not only me, but ALL of their customers who were travelling thru the Amsterdam Airport. It would be a very easy service to provide and there is ABSOLUTELY, no reason why I could not have been informed of this restriction at the time of booking. You may rest assured that I will never trust an internet travel agency for any future hotel bookings. Before booking the hotel room, I made every effort to determine such restrictions as this and I found none. I spoke to the airlines. I searched for ALL forms of travel restrictions on the internet for Viktoriia's itinerary and found none. However, a hotel located two miles from the airport and undoubtedly having a multitude of customers travelling through Amsterdam, HAD to be aware of this restriction and, therefore, had a duty to inform me that Viktoriia would not be allowed to use the booking. REALLY, no excuse for this!!

Since our guests arrive via multiple countries and some come by car and others via airline it is not always clear for us if and how the guests will arrive. Unfortunately your girlfriend did not inform the hotel about the situation and therefore we were unable to offer a suitable solution at that time. I had booked a room with 2 beds for my sister and myself only to get to the room and find one king bed. When I called to get a different room they said they were fully booked and that bed types are not guaranteed. They finally gave me a room with 2 beds that were pushed up against each other (almost like a king). Was super difficult to get service in the bar. Then in the morning was charged 3,50 for a small coffee from the bar. I would not stay here again.
