Holiday home in the centre of Alkmaar

Holiday home Singelzicht lies directly on the stately canal around the centre of the cheese city of Alkmaar. When you cross the little bridge, you walk straight into the atmospheric, old city centre. You can enjoy one of the many outdoor cafes that you'll find there. Singelzicht has a fresh and spacious living room with white furniture and laminate flooring. It's a place where you'll feel right at home. Through the French doors you can invite the sun in. The kitchen has a little more colour. Soft green cabinets on a purple tile background. There's spacious roof terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the boats passing by. You can walk to Alkmaar's train station in just ten minutes. You can take the train to Amsterdam and Haarlem or you could rent a bike and explore the area. Across the street from the holiday home you can rent a small boat that you can moor at the rear side of the Alkmaars Grachtje. This way you have your own boat during your stay in Alkmaar! Another tip: visit the famous Cheese Market! Watch this special event on Friday mornings on the Waagplein square, full of cheese and people carrying cheese.
