SUB STANDARD OLD OLD Howard Johnson!

Pros: Green chili, biscuits and gravy with breakfast and their staff doing the breakfast! If you like eggs from a bag, cooked in the microwave!
Cons: This entire HOTEL needs a makeover badly! Why don't you put some of that money to use into your hotel! Also, the parking the worst say the least!
My Mother, Aunt and myself checked in on Thursday evening, checking out Sunday! When we arrived, the location was not a problem. However, after getting our keys we proceeded to the elevators, there was one on each end of the hotel! The elevators were very scary, no ac. Then walking to our room on the 3rd floor, my mom says, these doors look like were going to prison, not that we've ever been neither! Carpets look dirty and dingy! The room, cracked wallpaper, lamps were leaning over because they were broken, the closet fixture was held by a card holding up one side! The plug behind the phone, the receptacle was all the way out hanging. The bathroom, no ventilation at all, not enough towels for the three of us, went down to ask for wash cloths, they said laundry wasn't done! So, the next morning asked housekeeping for towels, she said that she couldn't give us too many because there is a shortage, go figure for a 5 story hotel! Later, that day we came back to the room, I noticed disgusting stuff in the tub with water! The office maintenance said that the hotel drains back up because of the old pipes, but they do what they can to fix them. It was so gross, then the front sink backed up after washing our hands, c'mon. I couldn't wait to leave this place! Sun Deck whats the point, no table chairs or a lounge chair! One ice machine for this entire hotel too! Our TV quit working on Sunday morning!

Consider the cost- next to nothing!

Location: I come here for a conference.
Not the proverbial "ritz", but I cna stay here for less than half of what you pay at the embassy suites, if you don't need so many indoor waterfalls.

Don't judge a book by it's cover, great hotel

Pros: Everything inside the hotel was great- breakfast was delicious, staff helpful, exercise room has great equipment, pool and hot tub were amazing!
Cons: The pool area didn't have any towels, but front desk gave us plenty when we asked. Wish the pool was open until 11 PM on weekends.
Location: zoo, museums, downtown, shopping, and food are all nearby. Close to airport too.
We stayed here for the night because the pool looked amazing. We're all glad we stayed at this hotel and next time we head this way again, we'll definitely stay here. At first glance- the outside wasn't attractive. As we entered the hotel, it was much better. The people on staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, the beds weren't hard, and the fridge worked great. We loved the patios and the breakfast. The pool and hot tub were magnificent! My family loved swimming and the water temperature was perfect. The only thing we noticed was that the pool and rooms needed more towels (but the hotel was sold out that night). The Internet worked perfectly too.

Scammers at hotel

The room was nice, hotel was nice, area was nice and quiet, the only thing is after I booked and paid for room on travelocity the front desk asked for my card scanned it and then the very next day I find 300.00 in fraud charges on my card. I didn't use my card at all on this trip, so I know it was from this hotel, that's the only place it was scanned. Watch out for this place, one of the employees is card skimming

Not great but okay.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: handicap accessibility and housekeeping.
Best thing about the hotel was breakfast. It was awesome. There are some bad points. The handicap ramp is way to steep for electric wheelchairs. Threw me forward when I got to the bottom. Although they have a ramp going into the pool area, they built the ramp to low below the doorway so you have to go up the ramp with some speed and when you hit the lip at the top, again I was thrown forward and almost out of my wheelchair. Also, they did not service our room the second day there and when we called to ask about it, we were told rooms are only cleaned and serviced by request. Really, we have to ask you to do your job?
