Many surfaces in the room were very sticky. Half of the security arm on the door was broken. A hotel employee with some other people started to come into my room around 9 pm. He apologized and said he had understood this room was vacant. They left and I never had any more issues with this. The office and breakfast area were vary small and not clean. Because of the broken security arm, which I had not noticed earlier, I moved furniture in front of the door overnight. There were homeless people all over the neighborhood encroaching on the hotel. IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Overbooked by 20 rooms and could care less. Offered no assistance to find another room, yet we had already paid for the room.

Smelly and dirty.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Poor breakfast, smelly and dirty., burned out bulbs, very uncomfortable
The room was dark and dirty. Sheets smelled awful. The shower had hairs in it as well as the sink. We used our own linens and pillows, thank goodness we had them.If not for the fact that we were sooo tired from traveling would have left for sure. Don't stay there.

smell of stale smoke

Cons: Nothing close, Noisy, no bkfst, old worn out rooms
Even though it was "a non-smoking" room it smelled like stale smoke. The rooms opened to the out side parking lot. We didn't feel very secure. We will not stay there again and will not recommend it.

Great Find for the Money

I stayed here for 2 days in the "Suite" and found the accomadations to be not great, but agreeable. I definitely got my moneys worth. Traveled with 2 kids so they were able to go swimming in the pool. We had a fridge and microwave in the room and were within walking distance to the aquarium. There was also a free continental breakfast. So this is an excellent value for your money.
