Upon entering the romm all plugs were unplugged and batteries were in the remote wrong. We yelled in at 8pm after a long day. This is small but major at that time. The fire alarm battery needs changed as it beeped incessantly. There was NO shower head in the bath. No shower head. Not what I wanted to wake up to. I have a picture of it and will be happy to share. I won’t stay here again and will share with other family members travel here.

Hello, I stayed at your hotel 8/2. The reason I booked this hotel was because it had a pool and "free self serve breakfast". My 8 year old was very excited to use the pool. She was crushed to learn the pool was closed because the water was bad. The breakfast was a brown bag. There were no remotes in the room for the TVs. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and other things (ice/vending) were OUT of order in the hallway. You can't advertise you have a pool if it's not open. Please contact me. I would like some money back. Thank you.

Bed wasn’t like the picture at all. Pillows were very old and had to ask for more. Got locked out out the hotel and had to get the key cards reset. The ice machine was out of order. The vending machines were out of order as well. And the office chair was broke in our room. The furniture in our room was old and drawers were hard to close properly. And everything wasn’t dusted properly. No bible in the room. Hot tub in pool area was out of service but didn’t get to swim neither cause their were too many kids in the pool and didn’t get out till a few hours later. I will say the king size bed was comfortable and slept good. And the front desk lady was very nice and attentive. And it was in a good location.

I would not recommend this Best Western and urge you to stay elsewhere. I stay in hotels fairly regularly. I always book my rooms to pay when we arrive. It's not unusual for me to have last minute changes of schedule so it is easier that way. When I arrived on Friday I was informed that my room had to be paid in cash. I couldn't use the card I used to reserve the room. They refused to accept both Visa and Mastercard. In addition to paying cash up front for my room they required a $150 cash deposit. I don't ever carry large amounts of cash. They have an atm in the lobby with a $6 fee for every $200 withdrawn. When I asked them to explain this policy they claimed it was because I was "local". I live an hour away from the property in a different county. My daughter had a early event to attend Saturday morning so we were staying closer to the venue for convenience. I wouldn't call an hour away local and even if it were how does a cash only policy make sense?! I expect some changes due to social distancing like the elimination of hot breakfast. I was given a hostess cake and mandarin orange as a substitute. The elevator was filthy. The floor was wet and there was trash all over. The entire building smelled like cigarettes and weed despite being a no smoking building. There were limitations on how many people could be in the pool area but they didn't offer a waiting list or reserved time. There were no toiletries, even hand soap, in my room. Front desk didn't care if we were happy.
