This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff seemed unprofessional and when we got to our room, the fridge wouldn’t shut and there was a puddle of water underneath it. There were towels in the bathroom with dirt on them. The shower seemed like it had never been cleaned and there was drywall on ceiling in the bathroom that was about to fall off. One of the beds had a stain on the comforter. Don’t stay here

I am so upset me and my kids were visiting Akron we ended up sleeping in my car because the room they gave us was filthy I’m talking dirty towels in the bathroom hair in the tub toilet clogged and leaking in the back some kinda residue on the covers with finger prints, the then gave us another room that had bed bugs it was crazy I was promised a full refund from the front desk girl since we were there all of 20 minutes but was later denied due to the hotel not answering Expedias phone calls please do not book with these nasty people they don’t care if you have small children with you or not as long as your spending your hard earned money on their disgusting rooms

Floor filthy. Jetted tub extremely stained. Noisy from room above until midnight or later. Poop in the hallway. Dope odor from next room and lingering in our room. We were moved to a different room upon request. People smoking dope on the parking lot at 7 a.m.

Cheap, but not clean

The room was not clean upon arrival. No body wash was provided. Cleaning didn’t happen Saturday after we left for the day. The whole place smelled of weed. They were showing pornographic content on the tv during breakfast. The toilet leaked from the bottom, which was an issue before with all the caulk they used to try to seal it. Only positive was that he front desk staff was friendly.

Our room was dirty, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been actually cleaned in months. Our towels wee're cheap and acratchy and looked stained/dirty. The halls were dirty and getting to our room was like a maze.

The jetted tub was so filthy I didn’t even take a shower. Other parts of room were updated, nice and clean. Also, lots of noise and loud people walking the halls late at night. Won’t be back.

Absolutely disgusting and terrible attitude from the staff. (fresh brown smears on blankets, blood on bathroom light switch, mold in tub, public hairs in the bed and all over toilet seat. And we checked two separate rooms, 2nd was no better.) We left. Told the receptionist the issues and tried to show her pictures of what we found and she said "I already said I'll handle it I don't want to see your pictures" You'd be better off, and cleaner, sleeping on the parking lot itself.

Meh…

The people were nice. Hotel is super outdated. It is a Baymont and a Super 8 connected together; with a marquee that reads “NEWLY UPDATED ROOMS” Not even close. I didn't take pictures because we left at 5:00. There was mold around the grout of the tub. We both woke up around 4:30 am to pounding headaches; presumably from the mold and decided to leave. We went out to smoke before packing and leaving and when we came back in we saw a cockroach. Lesson learned. We will not be back.

American Horror Hotel Story

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The stinking smell in the room was dank, moldy, and acrid. I spent $50 on cleaning supplies. We spent over an hour cleaning the room. There was dust on the head boards, the toilet was dirty, the shower was dirty with little black bugs crawling around, and that smell that would not go away. We covered a hole in the wall with masking tape, and sprayed insect killer throughout the room. We then sprayed the entire bed with bedbug and lice killer. It was a nightmare. We ended up checking out after there was a physical confrontation outside of our hotel room door at 230am. I feel like Hotels.com is fully responsible for our horrific experience. Hotels.com falsely advertised this hotel with a 3.8 rating. The actual rating on another sight was 1.8. Don't trust Hotels.com!
