Air France Post Booking Tips

How to I find my flight number?

  • Your flight code will be stated in your itinerary, which will be emailed to you once your reservation has been finalized. It's wise to keep this at your fingertips in case you want to make changes to your ticket.

How early can you check bags for a flight?

  • If you're jetting off on an international flight, you can generally drop off your bags three hours ahead of departure. For domestic services, two hours is standard. Why not take some of the stress out of traveling and get to the airport with time to spare? That way, you don't have to worry about missing the bag drop completely. It generally closes 45 minutes before a domestic flight and one hour before internationals.

Long but nice flight

Oct 3, 2019

Long flight, i wish we could’ve upgraded the seats but the layover was too short and we almost missed the flight due to an unexpected delay in the runway.

I did not get the seat that I paid extra for on the Atlanta to Paris flight

Sep 29, 2019

The staff did not allow people with very tight connections to disembark before the rest of the LATE flight. Inexcusable!

Your staff are really great and extremely attentive/helpful. We loved flying with Air France and probably will go with your services again.

Travelocity and Air France must be more transparent with the baggage fees, while purchasing the ticket Everytime I click on baggage info the downloading takes forever and then freezes. During check in I couldn’t add luggage, I called and was told the system wasn’t working and I would have to do it at the airport, I was then told that it was 1 checked luggage a person. We arrived at the airport and we were told it was not including. Had I known the luggage wasn’t I would have taken the train the Paris and booked a flight with Lufthansa, or Swiss Air for a 1/3 of the price. I decided to lay a bit extra and fly from Pau, but that had I know the luggage was extra I definitely would have flown with another airline. Travelocity MUST make it clearer the exact cost of luggages before the booking not direct us to the airline. If we have to check with the airline then we can easily book with the airline directly and not use the services of Travelocity.
