This facility was absolutely horrible. I was given a room that they should not let anyone stay in. The room was not clean, tv didn't work, faucet on bathroom sink was broken, bath tub needed to be replaced, the carpet was absolutely filthy. I had the absolute worst Hotel stay over the weekend. Checked into the Rodeway Inn in Abilene TX for one night. The deskclerk was smirky and borderline rude. After he deigned to check me in, I went to the room. Looked for a cup.. no cups or glasses. Went back to the desk, asked for a cup. "There are no cups." "what?". "No cups in this hotel - at all." Again with kind of a smirky, borderline rude manner. Eh! went out to grab some food, came back an hour or so later. Figured I could watch a late football game... No TV controller. Back out to the desk, he handed me a controller. Back to the room. The damn thing would NOT turn on the TV. Started looking around the room more carefully. The microwave was missing the glass plate that rotates. In the bathroom, there was... a sink. Just the sink against a blank wall. No counters or cabinets. I guess I should be grateful they provided TP by the toilet? No Iron or board. No hairdryer. No plastic laundery bag. The "closet" had one hanger - left by previous guest, and the rod was like four feet above the floor. No ice bucket. Not even a trash can. There was a pile of dirty laundry about 6-8 feet in front of my room when I checked in. It was still there in the morning when I went for coffee. As I was leaving I asked the daytime desk clerk for a refund. (And I would not put out the worlds worst review ever.) He just smiled and said it doesn't matter. This is a franchise and nobody cares. "Welcome to Abilene", he said.

The place is absolutely filthy. Trash everywhere. Floor has not been swept or mopped. Our door was broken and would not lock when brought to the attention of front desk she just said oh. When we stated we were going someplace else her reply was you can’t get a refund day of checkin. Electrical plug and light switch is hanging off the wall. Asked for a room on bottom floor and she said no. I am on my way home from surgery in Texas and am very up set with these accommodations. No wash cloths 2 bath towels for 2 women. Dirty pillow cases on one of the beds. Could not find front desk person to get clean ones

Bad bad bad service employees lied to me no breakfast and actually it was breakfast I saw it by my own eyes, but I was too late. Bad manager screamed at everybody and scream at me for no reason because I was two minutes late after 11 and the most important part that the spiders obviously no pest control this hotel spiders come everywhere after you put your eye to sleep never go there again

This place switched us 2 times, first room had one towel and soon as we closed the door roaches crawled up the door, the head boards of the bed was torn. So they switched us to a second room, this room had one towel as well, hair in the tub and somebody had took a sh**in the toilet. I went down stairs and asked could we get another towel and she said they didn't have anymore. Told us that we didn't have to stay there asked could she call the manager, she said she not go to call them, this place was terrible, didn't even stay there

I had a terrible experience at this property. When I arrived, the door to the room was blocked, and the staff had to kick it open — definitely not a good first impression. For security, I ended up having to block the door with a nightstand, which made me feel extremely unsafe throughout the night. The cable didn’t work, and the WiFi was completely non-functional, which added to the frustration. As for the so-called “breakfast,” it consisted of a box of Cheerios and a cup of terrible coffee — far below any reasonable expectation. Overall, this was hands-down the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I strongly do not recommend staying here under any circumstances.
