Manhattan Hotel Salida
I go to Salida a few times a year, but had never stayed at the Manhattan until now. It's fantastic. Even the AirBnB's I've stayed in near town aren't quite as good.

Monarch Mountain Lodge
This is a lost gem. Very beautiful the staff is amazing. This is an older Hotel so keep that in mind but the nostalgia and area makes this a wonderful place to stay.

This is a great property with great views! The back deck that faces Mount Princeton, Antero, and Shavano is so enjoyable. The air conditioned bedrooms added a lot because the temperatures were a little warm during our stay.

We loved our weekend at Fox Den, which has the best mountain views. We didn't see any wildlife, but they are said to have bobcat, deer, elk, turkey, and even a moose family in the area!
