The Beacon at Embassy Row, WorldHotels Distinctive

Crowne Plaza College Park - Washington DC by IHG
"Didn’t get to stay at the hotel because they sold my room due to being over booked. Then to take my money for a room I didn’t stay in and not be able to refund me is beyond outrageous. No one is able to help Third party or actual hotel is bull crap."

"Very clean and well-maintained hotel in a busy part of NoMa. The staff were very helpful and the amenities were nice. Be forewarned that parking is not included and can be up to $55 dollars a night and there can be some homeless people wandering around late into the evening in front of the doors. ..."

Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol
"The hotel was clean and felt very secure. The staff was all very Poland professional. My only complaint is that the room temperature would not go below 73 degrees; however, I think the hotel was having HVAC issues as the gym was warm and there were portable AC units in the lobby."

There was no pool, but that really wasn’t a problem for us. The continental breakfast was available each morning, but after taking a look at the selection, we decided not to eat there because it was fairly basic and didn’t really appeal to us. Thankfully, we found some fantastic restaurants nearby. Iron Rooster, about six minutes away, was absolutely superb — the food was delicious and easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also enjoyed wonderful soul food at Silk Restaurant and Lounge and had a great happy hour at King Street Oyster Bar in DC. There are plenty of dining options in the area, which made the location very convenient. Overall, the hotel worked well for what we needed, and having so many excellen"
