So we got there and our room was not ready but the hotel staff was very accommodating and showed us where to visit and where to eat. The room was clean and modern and the beds were comfy. I must warn you for the modest people out there, the bathroom door is glass so if your not careful you might see more than you intend to. Other than it was a lovely experience and the hotel is wonderful to small children, which I don't see often in many hotels.

"Great value; location good; staff wonderful"
We enjoyed the facilities very much and with the value (excellent discounted price) it is a read find. The proximity to the medical center was a pro (if visiting someone there could NOT be better) and a con (somewhat regular emergency vehicle sirens). The rooms are beautiful, the continental breakfast sort of "average" and it would not work well for a person with a serious disability (no elevator and very steep old staircase but good handrails to grasp on both sides). The staff was very professional and helpful as needed. The wifi and heat both worked perfectly (we were asked on check-out) and we will go back in the "off season" as this was.

"Good 'choice' of a motel!"
A special note must be made about the services provided to me by Ahmed, the night desk representative. I got lost trying to get to the hotel from the Portland airport after midnight on the 25th/26th of July. I called the hotel and he was on duty at the desk and answered. For over 20 minutes he stayed on the line with me to help me find my way from where I I was (unknown!) to the hotel by guiding me as I relayed info on what I was seeing from my car, and he interpreted my meanderings, located the area where I was, and guided me to the front door. To me, this was above and beyond the call of duty. He was GREAT!!!
