Book a hotel near Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area, Gatlinburg

"We rented this house for a get together with a bunch of Army guys who served together. House was great, plenty of space. Listing says they provide 2 bath towels per person, initial supply of toulet paper and dish washer soap. We were allotted 1 bath towel per person, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no dishwasher soap. Communication with the host is lacking. Very long response time. Some messages never being answered. The last day of our stay the upstairs(main level) air conditioner went out. It was an 85 day. We were out most of the day in Cades Cove. We return to the house and its 78 air isnt flowing at all. We message the host through the chat option. No response. We waited over an hour and then decided to call, it was 11:37pm at this time. My husband spoke to someone who basically said its not their problem and told us to open the the windows and then hung up on them. Then they message me back telling us they aren't a hotel and dont offer the same amenities as a hotel would. Never once did they apologize for the inconvenience of staying in a hot stuffy cabin. All of us that were in an upstairs bedroom had to camp out on the floor in the downstairs game room. All in all the house was in a good location, but the poor way the host washed their hands of the non-functioning air conditioning really left the experience as a bad one. "

"Traveled to TN for spring break, and this house had something for everyone- hot tub/pool, arcade, pool table, gaming room, movie theater, bowling alley, large social space. Wears Valley area is far enough from downtown Pigeon Forge for a true mountain vacation experience feel, but still a 20 minute drive for downtown tourist fun. Kids and adults alike both enjoyed ALL the amenities- could spend days just playing and utilizing recreation area. Unlike some other TN properties we’ve stayed at before on cliffs or small lots, the yard space is large and open. Cleanliness- 10/10. Well designed spaces. We had a minor glitch with the bowling alley, and the property manager was prompt to respond and resolve. 15 minute drive to Great Smokey Mountains. A stop by Mountain Brothers General Store and fried pies shop just down the street is well worth a stop. Would love to stay here again!! "

"This cute and cozy house in the mountains was perfect for our family vacation to visit the Smoky Mountains. It was in a convenient location for getting to the National Park. The owner was very responsive and helpful with all communication. The house was clean, comfortable and the hot tub was a plus! We would stay here again. Thanks!"

"The home was great. Central to activities. Kitchen is well equipped. Showers worked well. Bathrooms work well. Living room was large and roomy. The hot tub was incredible as it snowed one afternoon. Truly a great place to stay if you are visiting the Smokeys. K-cup and drip machines! Nice neighborhood for running in as well. "
