Check in was not as expected. I called the host who never returned my call. I waited one hour by the street entrance I finally found the house by the picture shown on the reservation. When I arrived there was a female who didn’t know who I was. She tried contacted the host who never responded. She eventually located my reservation. When I voiced my concerns she was not sympathetic. Her response upset me when she said: “You can go somewhere else if does not meet your expectations.” My response was where else can I go at this point. She just shrugged her shoulders. No hospitality whatsoever. Plain out rude. First of all and foremost there’s not a sign that identifies “CALIFORNIA APARTMENTS.”It’s located in a residential neighborhood. I consider this extremely misleading. The host should have been available. The bedding sheets need to be cleaned. The towels appeared to be worn out. Needs a lot of upgrade. On a positive note the security was safe, great air conditioning and hot water.
