$47 resort fee for a guest who arrives at 11pm and departs at 9 am is ridiculous. Room was so so. Fold out couch was broken (could not be used a seat). One bathroom sink was not working. Not great value for cost!

Lack of Housekeeping Services

The hotel is a resort in the center of an upscale community. Beautiful views and staff. Quiet and laid back. Unfortunately, the lack of proper housekeeping services put a dent in our satisfaction. I made complaints about the lack of towels, lotion, coffee, emptying of waste baskets, no rugs and slippery floors for 3 consecutive days. I asked for lotion and they brought me mouthwash and shampoo. I asked them to empty the 2 waste cans and they emptied one. Asked for hand towels and they brought bath towels. They took the 2 bathroom rugs and did not replace. Then they brought a damp floor towel, which I had them take back. I kept getting "sorries" every time I complained, but, in the 5 days I was there, they never completely corrected anything. When I asked for a form to file a formal complaint, they said they didn't have one; that I should go online to locate one. I will not recommend this hotel.

The property was nice around the pool and in general. The staff is friendly and the food at the restaurants were really good. The bar staff were great also. When I checked in at midnight, I was shocked to find out that there aren’t any elevators to get to my room. I had to go up a few flight of stairs and then down an outdoor corridor to take a set of stairs down to my room.Since I have a bad back, the gentleman at the front desk offered to have my bag delivered by the shuttle driver. The room was mediocre. It needs some updating. Especially the bathroom. It was clean. The mini refrigerator wasn’t working that great. I noticed there was a thick chunk of ice forming on the inside. I defrosted it before putting anything in it. The view of my room was a rooftop with a/c units. I kept the curtains closed. Other than that, the grounds were manicured and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. So that was nice! If it wasn’t for the hotel not having an elevator, I would recommend it.

Very poor service the resort maintenance was unsatisfactory. My original room was dirty and furniture was also dated and dirty. I switched rooms and I was promised a different room but it never happened. I watched how they treated white people versus the blk people. No sense of urgency and I truly feel iwere a white woman i would havea different experience at this resort. I will never come back to visit. During check out my bill was completely wrong and they ended up remove some of the charges. I was charged for parking and I don’t even own a vehicle

The attitude of the staff made all the difference

Very friendly staff. Everyone was very accommodating. I was annoyed that on two occasions our room had not been cleaned by 5:00 pm despite us being out of the room. Once brought to management's attention, the room was cleaned but I don't think I should have had to ask. In general, however, people were so pleasant and the accommodations were pleasant so I give it a high rating.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this resort. We walked down to see the sunrise in the morning, had breakfast at the diner, and then hung out at the pool (pool service was amazing). The shuttle service was also amazing. It took us to all corners of the resort with little notice, and they never made us wait long to be picked up. We would definitely stay here again.
