Upon arrival the staff member was rude and disrespectful. He finally checked us in a 1:30pm into a room that had no television. We asked her how to fix it she said that maintenance was gone. The evening shift staff moved us to a better room. The area is perfect for what we came for.

The property is located by the main roads which gives access to many other nearby towns. However, the property is located too far from good restaurants. There isn’t much to see around the property. Also, the property needs to be renovated. It shows signs of aging and lack of cleanliness. The staircase requires major renovation. The gym needs to be upgraded. The pool is good. Breakfast can be better. Toiletries supply can be better too. The property does need to improve its maintenance.

There were a few issues here. There were used condoms laying on the floor under the bed, that housekeeper didn’t get when they cleaned. The bathroom sink drain was clogged and the faucet was loose. There was a heart-shaped tub in the adjoining room that was not cleaned very well. You could see and feel the soap scum or the “ring” around the tub. Everything else was fine. We enjoyed our stay. We’d probably go back again. I like the location because it’s close to another hotel I used to stay at. And we liked the hotel restaurant. We’d been there before.

Great place needs a few updates.

This is a good hotel for the budget minded. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel needs some updates. The carpet, the elevator, and the Jacuzzi in our room all needed updates. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay and the price was wonderful

We made a reservation to stay at this property on 3/15/25 for a family ski weekend. We arrived, checked in, and went to the to the room. Unfortunately, our room was dirty. The carpet was not vacuumed, the bedding was worn and tattered, the surfaces in the room were not wiped clean, and the worst part was there was a pubic hair on the bathroom counter. The carpeting in the hallway outside the room was stained and neglected too. We decided that we were uncomfortable with the cleanliness standard at this hotel and made the decision that we would not stay in this hotel with our two nine year old children. We approached the front desk attendant and explained the situation. She was very helpful and understanding. She apologized and recommended calling Eddie, the hotel manager, to discuss refund possibilities. She gave me his number and said she would make a note on the reservation about our unhappiness with the dirty room and that we would not be staying at the hotel for the evening. I have called Eddie several times and left messages for him, and I wrote to the hotel through the Expedia website, but have not received a response or a phone call. I’m disappointed that Eddie has ghosted us and the hotel has made no effort to return the call, refund our money, or make amends. What’s up Comfort Inn - Pocono Mountains?

The hotel was completely dirty. My room was absolutely filthy. I checked out and stayed at the Holiday Inn express instead. The bathroom had no toilet paper upon checking in, when I had called they told me I needed to come get the toilet paper myself at the front desk
