Whitby Hotel & Travel Guide\n
You will find the suburb of Whitby 40 miles (61 kilometers) to the northeast of central North Yorkshire.
Roaming in North Yorkshire? You should call on some excellent visitor spots, like the York Minster, Fountains Abbey and Whitby Abbey.
Whitby has a handful of accommodations available, but you might enjoy staying within the same area as both the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the Whitby Museum. Make a choice from the The Riviera Guesthouse and Ellie's Guest House to stay within a few steps away from the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, or the The Pathways Guest House and Beaches Guest House to be nearer to the Whitby Museum.
Amongst the fantastic choice of Whitby hotel and apartments are a couple of bargain options, such as the Ellie's Guest House and The Old Rectory.
If you are traveling to Whitby and seeking somewhere to kick your feet up, it is also worth thinking about booking accommodations in one of the nearby destinations, Goathland and Glaisdale.
Travelocity's extensive accommodations database features some North Yorkshire places to lay your head.
