Quick stopover stay on drive across NV to the West Coast. Room was large and clean and nice. Check-in staff was great. Was disappointed in dining/limited dining option(s). The Cantina and other bar was closed--but was a Wed night.

Smoke from Casino permeates all rooms

The first room I was assigned to reeked of cigarette smoke (I requested a non-smoking room). When I tried to call the front desk to change rooms, the in room phone didn’t work, forcing a 200 yard walk back to reception. They put me in a different room that still smelled of stale cigarettes, but not as bad as the first room. At this point I gave up.

The walls were paper thin and the mattress was worse than laying on the floor. I am 6'2" and 185lbs, not overweight by no means. I would never recommend this particular location for individuals that are traveling long distance and attempting to get actual rest. Also, I was not aware of the resort fee that is charged when you check in. I was not there to gamble. I am formally requesting a full refund for that particular stay.
