BIENVENIDOS a la playa de Cabanas Makaha ubicado a orillas del noroeste de Oahu! Nuestro apartamento está en el piso principal. No hay necesidad de usar incluso un ascensor - paso fuera de nuestra Lanai directamente en la playa! Realmente no hay nada mejor que esto!

Lejos del bullicio de la ciudad, estamos en el campo, donde todavía se puede experimentar Hawaii como debe ser - virgen y con poca gente.

Pero lo suficientemente cerca como para disfrutar de sus gustos en el barrio chino, el surf en la costa norte o swing en Waikiki cuando las huelgas de deseo!

Ver puestas de sol espectaculares, ver los delfines, tortugas marinas y hasta ballenas durante la migración anual - todo desde la comodidad de su FRENTE AL MAR Y PRINCIPAL PLANTA CONDO.

Tenemos una playa increíble, el mejor en Oahu - nadar, snorkel, boogie board, el surf, golf cerca en dos cursos de alta calidad y zona de barbacoa en el lugar.

Restaurantes locales están muy cerca y tiendas de lujo / comedor está a unos 20 minutos de distancia.

¿Quién puede resistirse al sonido de las olas adormecer a dormir? Nuestra playa es calificado como uno de los mejores en Oahu!

Este increíble condominio en el primer piso está literalmente en la playa prácticamente privada y tiene capacidad para 4 personas cómodamente con una cómoda cama Queen, sofá cama convertible y cocina totalmente equipada.

Debido a que estamos directamente en el océano, el aire acondicionado de Cabanas son los maravillosos vientos alisios de Hawai. El condominio está diseñado para aprovechar los vientos alisios con ventilación cruzada + tenemos ventiladores de techo en cada habitación. ¡No hay necesidad de alejarse del sonido de las olas directamente afuera de su puerta!

Sandy Beach between your tiest

Get away from the busy life…. Sit back enjoy the sound of the waves …. Sand between you toes…. Watch turtles swim by… nice drive to north shore, Dole plantation and the macadamia nut farm.

Great space. Being first floor let’s one step over onto sand. Right there. Water little rough but swimmable. Great duvets. Close to few reasonable priced markets. Good beach toys. If focus is sand. Beach relaxation thus got you. Not ton of restaurants right there but 20 minutes snd you’re at Ko Olina Owners very communicative and recondite. Great time

Life is a Beach!

This property is great! Its away from the crowds and high costs of Honolulu. You are truly experiencing Island life with the Hawaii locals. The best thing about this property is that you open the bedroom sliding glass door and you are on the beach!! I had to sweep the patio almost everyday due to the sand getting on it!! That was great! Also the beach is never crowded, it sits infront of two condo buildings and can only be accessed from the walkway to it and there isn't much public parking, maybe space for 4 cars. This keeps the beach from getting crowded. In the morning I had coffee on the patio and watched Sea Turtles swim by on their way to the feeding grounds. Everyday we saw turtles!! Having a full kitchen helps in Hawaii to save money as it can be costly to eat on the island every meal. I hope to return when my company sends me back!

Wonderful!

Property was just as described, location great, not touristy. Perfect for making day trips to explore the island. The beach was awesome and not crowded, the laundry facilities simple and inexpensive, and the booklet with condo instructions and local info was very helpful. So happy we found this rental!

Fantastic beachfront condo, instant access to the beach.

This was a perfect condo for beach lovers like us. It is super easy to go to the ocean right from the condo. We knew that getting a condo in the makaha area means spending some extra time on getting groceries but it hasn't prevented us from exploring the entire island as Oahu is not that large when you get a car. The condo itself features very nice TV's and fast internet, our host was very responsive to any of our needs during the stay.

Hidden Jewel Of Oahu

We had a wonderful month staying at Jain’s place. The unit is well maintained & equipped with everything we needed. Also, love the convenience of being able to step in & out of beach right from our lanai. The beach is absolutely beautiful & quiet. We enjoyed it so much that we barely did any other activities, but just relaxed there everyday. The building’s laundry room is on the ground floor as well, and can be paid & monitored via app. There is a small farmers market every Saturday about 5 minutes away with fresh vegetables, fruits, local restaurant foods & crafts. Which we enjoyed to go, as well as the large KCC farmers market by Waikiki. Can’t wait to come back again!

Can’t beat the view!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and you could not beat walking out the back door straight onto the beach. It was even better to have beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, etc. included so we didn’t have to bring them or try and find our own. The owner provided a helpful information binder so we could find things to do around the area which we definitely appreciated. The owner and manager were super easy to contact and were always prompt to answer our questions. The only thing we had an issue with was not having air conditioning and trying to sleep through the heat, but we are also used to a cold climate. Overall we loved our stay!!

A Secret Hidden GEM

The condo was clean an very comfortable. Had everything we needed, but our food. The view right outside the patio is beautiful , waves an beach.. Each day we sat on the beach an just watched the ocean, the waves come roaring in .. And the sunsets , OMG , beautiful. 3/4 locals, an 1/4 tourists which is so nice. The book you left on attractions, places to eat , places to explore they were all spot on with directions ect...... This place is Very Relaxing an Soothing for the soul this little hidden gem ... People were all friendly an helpful .. The furthest we traveled from the condo was to the Polyision Culture Center, 91 miles away .. It was a awesome drive... Can't say enough of good things about this Condo an this area the Condo is in... The locals are all very friendly , very thoughtful.....They look out for you .

12 wonderful days at Makaha beach Cababa's

Thank you Janis for providing a very clean unit. Towels, beach chairs, boggy boards, snorkels and masks, cooler and even a fishing pole. Plus more. This is a great place to stay every time we are in Hawaii. Priced well and has many things you won't need to pick up at the store. Great to see the Weber gas grill. The beach is terrific with few people and the Puka shell hunting was fun for our Granddaughter and us. If your not into the over crowded tourist areas this is the place. Highly recommend!!! Makaha Beach Paradise

Wonderful and Quiet Beach on Oahu

My husband and I took our granddaughter, age 15 , for a 10 day stay here. It was perfect for us! We wanted to stay away from the crowds, and we like to be able to walk out from our lanai to the beach. Perfect! From the pictures it looks as if there would be hundreds of people around, since the cabanas and the condos next door are both high risers, but that was not the case at all. Most were not occupied. On the weekends the beach is more crowded, but still way less crowded than other beaches on Oahu. Our condo was clean,comfortable, and has everything you need (except for a small cooler, which we bought and left in the bedroom closet). We snorkeled all over the island, as well as in front of the condo. Toward the big rock you see in the picture is nice! We used the outdoor grills and the washer and dryer, both located nearby. The locals were friendly, and the staff at the condo always greeted us warmly. Janis was always able to answer our questions promptly, as we were preparing for the trip. I would recommend this condo to all of my friends who dislike hotels, and enjoy staying in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Joe and Susan Mahan

This condo makes the whole Oahu experience great!

Everything is exactly as described, only better. My husband and I have not had a week long vacation for 24 years when our kids were small and that vacation was anything but relaxing. We traveled to the whole island and couldn’t find a nicer beach. There was one on the east side that was prettier (maybe) but was crowded so much we couldn’t find parking. Most of the weekdays there was maybe one or two people at the condo’s beach and most of the time no one at all. The condo itself was great for relaxing. I like to read and my husband likes to plan a few activities around his naps - like in multiple. The kitchen has brand new cupboards with slide out drawers and Janis has been very thoughtful about stocking it with everything you would want to cook. We saved a lot of money by purchasing fresh fish (ahi), steak or shrimp each afternoon and fixing it with fresh produce. It’s a great way to end the day, eating local food on the lanai. Better than any fancy restaurant. The area is mainly occupied by locals and it was great! We felt welcome and safe there - so glad we didn’t stay in Waikiki. The best part of this condo is it FEELS like a home and has all those home like touches hotels just don’t have. Thoughtful decor that’s not “cookie cutter”, and is furnished with equipment if someone likes to do activities like using boogie boards or chairs to watch the sunset. Don’t think the condo is perfect.......There are a few minor things that really didn’t bother me like the screen door has a hard time locking so I just didn’t mess with it and made sure we were gentle with opening/closing - just like at home! We couldn’t figure out the tv that kept saying “no signal” but we used our lap top fine with the WiFi, I’m sure it was “operator error” and we didn’t want to screw anything up so we didn’t mess with it. Such minor things when we were there to relax and explore the island. This place was the perfect getaway and we came home with the plan of repeating this vacation next year.

Just as advertised!!

We spent 10 wonderful days in this condo... It was just as we were told it would be !!! Steps to the beach is an understatement, More like step off the patio and you are on the beach.. The water was so clear and a perfect 80 degrees... We loved being out with the locals instead of the typical tourist scene... The people were so friendly and groceries and restaurants just down the street... Lot's of snorkeling gear, boogie boards and fishing equipment at the condo.. And it was stocked just like our own home!!! Thanks Janis for sharing your amazing home with us.. Our 30th wedding anniversary was more than we ever expected!!! Jeff and Ronda Langley

A Great Spot

Enjoyed our time(December) at Makaha Condos. Excellent beach right outside the front door - uncrowded. We saw whales breach and swam with turtles and trumpet fish. Condo was as described by owner. Family had a great time playing in the waves, meeting the neighbours, exercising on the beach and travelling around the island. We also loved shopping at the local grocery stores and sampling local foods. The condo is away from the crowds which made this area even more appealing to us.(The area outside the condo does have areas that look rough but we never felt unsafe. I found that it didn't matter where you went on the island you ran into these rough looking areas.) Thank you Janice for sharing your condo we definitely enjoyed it(family didn't want to leave), if we can we would love to come back.

The Location Can Not Be Beat!

This condo is located in my favorite part of Oahu - Makaha. There aren't any pictures that can truly do this area justice, and and with the unit being on the ground floor you can just walk out onto beautiful, quiet Papaoneone Beach. If you have never been, just take my word for it and go there! :) The condo building is older, but the unit has been renovated. Janis has really furnished this condo nicely, with almost everything you could possibly need, including an extensive selection of books perfect for reading on the beach. One thing of note, however, is the kitchen. The area itself is very narrow and it is the main walkway from the front of the unit to the back, where the lanai and beach are located, and two people can not pass each other in the kitchen. Having said that, the kitchen boasts newer cabinets, counters and appliances and is very well stocked. There isn't any air conditioning in the condo, but with windows in the front and the back the trade winds make this place cool and comfortable all day long - and that's coming from 2 Canadians who use a/c in the winter! Onsite laundry facilities, as well as the security and maintenance staff, were excellent and Janis was a pleasure to deal with in all aspects of the transaction. The reason I gave only 4 stars was to do with some minor maintenance issues that I have been assured would be dealt with, if at all possible, within the next little while (there is an ongoing screen door problem that seems to be impossible to fix). After those items have been completed, this will truly be the vacation rental of your dreams!

We really enjoyed this condo. It had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. It did not have air conditioning and I was very hesitant, but with the tradewinds you did not need it. It was about a 45 minute trip from the airport but we liked it because a lot less people. It is right on the beach and the crashing of waves at night was amazing. I would give it 5 stars but the only downside for us was the locals put up a tent several night in front of our Lanai because they camp and fish all night. They were very quiet but we didn't like to sit out on the Lanai with them right there before bed and when we woke up in the morning. But it is a great find for the money. Loni and Tony
