Charming hotel in a truly unique setting. The staff was very welcoming, but could have shared more information about what restaurants were open and that reservations were necessary. And perhaps helped by making a reservation for us.

SOWELL COLLECTION Hôtel du Roi & SPA
We were very happy with our stay. Great location from which to visit the old and new city. Super friendly staff!! The room was large with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old city. Nice garden with areas to sit and sip wine. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed Saturday to Tuesday. The restaurant and bar were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which was disappointing - The roof top bar area had an incredible view of the castle but we didn’t get chance to sit there - otherwise I would have given a higher score

Comfort Aparthotel Carcassonne
Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation.
