Very comfortable bed in a well appointed room! Loved the included breakfast….extremely clean and lots of options. Delicious coffee too. Great shuttle driver picking us up at midnight from an unexpectedly late flight into Toronto. Thank-you to the kind front desk gentleman who was so understanding and pleasant when we checked in exhausted from a very long day due to a security shutdown at Aruba Airport February 9. We will definitely stay again with you next January!

Food at breakfast was terrible. Hotel shower head had no pressure and the bathroom towels felt like sandpaper. Not a horrible cheap stay if you waiting on a morning flight like us but don’t expect a nice hotel for a stay longer than a night. Nothin terribly wrong just not up to my personal standard

Arrived at the check-in counter at 10:30pm. Two hotel staff were at the counter. We were the only guests arriving at that time. Both clerks pretended not to see us for several minutes. We stood at the counter. They kept “busy” on the other side of the counter. I eventually asked one: “Would you be able to check us in?” Her reply was “No. I’m going off shift.” The other clerk eventually checked us in. He seemed to do so grudgingly. Bizzare, considering I had a reservation. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in my career as aircrew - sometimes nearly 200 room nights a year). I’ve had all sorts of check-in experiences. I’ve never had a check-in as perfunctory or sour as this one. Elevator smelled of smoke. Room was meh. Mattress had a sag in it on one side of the bed. The whole experience had a “sketchy motel” feel. The Hampton Inn brand has obviously gone downmarket. Fortunately, we were only there for six hours before we departed for our connecting flight. We didn’t try the breakfast. See and avoid Hampton Inn YYZ.
