Our hotel room didn’t have heating. When we walked into the room, it felt like a freezer. Even after turning the AC off, the room never warmed up to a point that we felt comfortable. I tried calling the front desk that night to request an extra blanket, but no one picked up. I called again in the morning requesting the blanket and an extra cup for coffee (there was only one in the room). They said they would send them, but they didn’t. This place didn’t feel like a hotel, but an old apartment property repurposed as a hotel, and lacking the right amenities. We ended up checking out a day earlier than we had booked and finding a different place.

Terrible place

Hotel is very tired. Staff only do the minimum and appear uninterested. Given they have no bar or restaurant, you would think they’d at least provide coffee in the lobby.

Lots of space

The room is a one bedroom apt which gave us lots of space. The furnishings are clean but an eclectic mix. If they would switch out the bedroom headboard and nightstand to something newer it would go a long way to making the rooms more current. Bed was comfortable and the bed linens were really nice, however they need to have an extra blanket available.

The suites were well equipped and very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we checked in about 45 minutes early and they made sure the room was ready. The bathrooms were clean even though the inn is starting to show its age. The suite itself was immaculate all the kitchen cupboards looked very clean, handy for someone looking for a longer stay. Nice to see in suite laundry and a nice full size fridge.

The hotel is in a great location outside Toronto. It is next to the lake, a shopping district with lots of restaurant options & walking distance to the train that goes to Toronto. Quiet, nice outlook, good kitchen facilities & a cimfy bed.
