If nature is your personal religion, then head to the Taos Box for unbelievable white-water rafting—nothing like a tumble in the river to wake you up in the morning! In the winter you’ve got to hit Taos Ski Valley, which offers the best powder in all of New Mexico. After an adrenaline-fused day of hitting the slopes, nothing feels better than retreating to your rental, like the The Edelweiss Lodge and Spa and shucking off your snow-crusted skiwear.
