The Maple & Oak - Lakefront Home with Private Beach

Stunning home on private, spring-fed Minnewaukan Lake in Sturgis MI. Enjoy the 75 feet of private beach on this 1/3 acre lot with a home that has been completely updated with nothing but luxury in mind. Enjoy the secluded feeling of a lake home while being only minutes from town. This fantastic home has it all ~ two full floors of living , a gourmet kitchen, two bedrooms on the main floor, one bedroom on the lower above-grade walk-out level with a full bath on each level. The cozy bunkhouse features radiant heating, AC and provides a separate and private retreat with a queen size bed, desk and a wrap around deck. Enjoy walking on the heated floors in the lower level while making your way to the oversized sectional sofa situated in front of an electric fireplace and look out onto the lake through the three spacious floor-to- ceiling windows. There are many different outdoor spaces to lounge in, including a large back deck that overlooks Minnewaukan Lake. Enjoy the 75' of thick, fresh sand on the private beach before going for a kayak, canoe ride or even ice fishing.
Old town Sturgis is only moments away where you can enjoy the vintage and collectible stores and grab a cup of fresh coffee from our local coffee shop. The in- town butcher will cut your order fresh and our large Weber grill with a direct gas line and outdoor eating area will make eating at home even more enjoyable. Don't want to cook after a hard day on the beach or fishing? There are several dining options in town and you are only minutes away from Meijer, Aldi and Starbucks.
Conveniently located just minutes from I80 and I90 and only two hours from the greater Chicagoland area.

Lovely home and views

Our extended family had a wonderful stay! We loved the home and the beautiful views, and enjoyed our morning coffee and late-night stargazing from the deck. (We even had a hummingbird visitor.) The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and so easy for more than one person to work in at a time. There were so many options for spending time on or in the water, and we ended up canoeing and kayaking every day. This is definitely a favorite lake vacation home!
