This was a great hotel to stay at for our entire family! Plenty of room. Loved that we had a kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed to cook so we used the room a lot more than we thought. Grocery stores around all corners. Just a solid place to stay with family!

We had an issue with check-in related to our Expedia reservation not being in their system but they were able to fix that and we had a wonderful stay. Aaron at the front desk was excellent and explained what had happenned and how it had been resolved. Excellent property and excellent staff.

So frustrating

Parking lot was being repaved - huge issue when we arrived, not given good guidance. The front desk is literally impossible to reach by direct phone. From inside the hotel, yes, no problem. When we got to the property we tried for 20 minutes to call the front desk and it just kept going to member services or another function. By the time I got in touch with a human after selecting several options, I was beyond frustrated. I told them I was just trying to reach a real live person to speak to. She says, "Okay, I'll send you back to the menu and you just press zero." She could not directly connect me to the front desk and I find that absolutely absurd. Breakfast on the weekend did not start until 7:30am. I find that so inconvenient. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and had to be at the gym by 7am both days. Not conducive to early risers.

Bait & switch shadyness

When we pulled in the entire parking lot was getting paved, which was a complete mess and we had no idea how to get into the hotel. we had to ask multiple random construction guys on what to do, and they really didn’t have a clue. Then when we went to check in, they told us that they couldn’t find our third-party reservation through hotels.com and didn’t have a reservation. After multiple steps, they finally rebooked us under their own site. I booked a King balcony suite and when I got up to my room, I quickly realize that I did not have a balcony (which I had paid more for). I went down to the front desk, where they then informed me that they had downgraded my room because it was all that they had left. No credit or discount was offered. They finally agreed to give me Hilton points to make up for it, which, in my opinion felt very shady in the fact that my room was downgraded without my knowledge and if I would not have said anything, they had zero plans of trying to make the situation right. We were there with a large volleyball group and multiple other families from our team had the same situation happen, but they were not able to get rooms and had to go find hotels elsewhere in town late at night last minute, which turned into a huge debacle. I would not recommend booking this hotel if you can help It
