citizenM Rotterdam
"Location was great (although a bit challenging to find at first). Room was a bit dirty (there was something under the duvet that looked like food crumbs near the foot of the bed and there were hairs on the bed too)."

"While it was kind (and odd) to be upgraded but without access to the M Lounge, it really didn't matter. "Stayed in a pod with 3 friends. Comfortable bed and bedding, shared bathrooms and showers really clean and well maintained. Soundproofing was the only issue, particularly when other guests were awake at 2am. Otherwise very comfortable"

Rotterdam Marriott Hotel
"While it was kind (and odd) to be upgraded but without access to the M Lounge, it really didn't matter. The staff working The Pillars were all superb - particularly Maressa who kindly helped me improve my Dutch language skills. As the other 'front of house' for the hotel they are an absolute credit and I hope are recognised as such. The room was wonderful and we slept well followed up by an extensive range of breakfast choices to set you up for the day. I can recommend the cheese omelette. The location just across from Centraal station was another benefit meaning we had time to explore more Rotterdam before finally catching the train home."
