The Parkview Hotel
"Important to note: at this time in early November 2026, most of the rooms in this hotel have been completely renovated to a very high standard. The bathrooms are a bit small but the rooms are lovely with freshly painted walls and ceiling, new flooring, terrific beds, and big windows that let in lots of light. The moderate sized lobby area is still under renovation as are some other areas on the ground floor and behind the check-in desk. At the moment the price is still super competitive because the renovations are not yet complete and it is still listed as an independent hotel that's not part of a larger reservation system in a matter of weeks it will become a part of the Hampton inn system and the prices are sure to increase dramatically. It doesn't have a restaurant and the breakfast was extremely limited because of the renovations but it's really a lovely small hotel in a location that's very convenient to downtown and the SU campus. Based on current Syracuse hotel pricing that would still be a bargain at $200 per night because we found a Holiday Inn Express that was 15 or 20 minutes away out in Dewitt was $250 per night when we paid about $115 for the Parkview."

Randolph Hotel Liverpool/Syracuse/Airport West, Trademark
"The room was clean . Had some kind of a device, looked like a camera hanging by the indicator with a sticky covering lens. Breakfast was ok but only had eggs, waffles and white bread to toast., The young gentleman at front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. A lot of unfinished repairs. Bed was very comfortable."
