"Everything was amazing! They have free shuttle transportation from the hotel to the train station. The drive to the hotel was mystical. I will definitely be returning during winter."

"We had to stay in this area as there were no more accommodations available near the festivals. Yes, it was a 2 hour train ride! Hotel is mediocre, lots of convenience stores located nearby. "A lovely hotel by Lake Towada that is beginning to show its age. It’s a perfectly fine place to stay, and it’s in a nice location, but it feels so empty, having such a large hotel with so few guests."

HOTEL LiVEMAX Honhachinohe Ekimae
"The room was actually a trailer- which was unexpected. It was kind of very tight. The sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable and blocked the whole rooms. Kind of tripping hazard if the others want to use the bathroom at night. The facility was very clean. The onsen was very nice."

It is one of the better hotels in the area. Is it located an easy walk to some of the great restaurants and places to shop. However, don’t expect to see a lot of foreigners and learn a few words of Japanese."
