Shichirigahama Hotel & Travel Guide

Shichirigahama is certainly a destination worth checking off.

It's located in Kamakura, so if you happen to be coming from Tokyo, the nation's capital, you'll have a trip of 30 miles (48 kilometers) to go.

You'll be glad to find out there are 2 accommodation options nearby. The Kamakura Prince Hotel and Hotel Hokke Club Shonan-Fujisawa are within 2 miles (3 kilometers) of Shichirigahama.

You'll find a small selection of wallet-friendly solutions not too far away. You can inquire about the Iza Kamakura Guest House & Bar and the Fujisawa Hotel.

Whether you're looking for a bite to eat or somewhere to enjoy some time out, アマルフィカフェ can take care of your needs, and it's located a short walk away. If you have an hour or two to spare and room in your stomach still, you can also try out the delicious food at Amalfi DELLA SERA. If you don't wish to crawl into bed just yet, have a refreshing glass of your favorite wine or beer at アメリカンハウス, another quick stroll away.

Other Things to Do Near Shichirigahama

You should maximize your time here by exploring the region's other attractions after you're finished with Shichirigahama:

Gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and religion and perhaps even offer up your own prayer at Manpukuji Temple.
Regardless of your faith or upbringing, Koyurugi Shrine, one of the area's holiest attractions, is a worthwhile site to visit.
Choose a good vantage point and watch all the comings and goings as workers unload ships as they come into Koshigoe Fishing Port.
If you'd like a sweeping view of the ocean, head on up to Inamuragasaki Beach. This impressive cape is ideal to visit on a warm summer day.
Discover a spiritual oasis and leave your earthly concerns behind at Ryukou-ji Temple

One easy way to arrive at Shichirigahama is by metro. The best station in this situation, Shichirigahama Station, is just 0.2 miles (0.3 kilometers) away. A different station you can try is Kamakurakoko-Mae Station. It's quite close too, being 0.4 miles (0.6 kilometers) away.

"This hotel had a luxurious feel to it at a quite reasonable price. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Fuji can be seen from the west facing rooms. THe view of the harbor to the east is also good. The hotel restaurant has a very fine, Italian-inspired tasting menu that would cost you a lot more in the US."

"The property was considerably better than I expected! It was a last minute booking on Expedia and I got a fantastic rate for a weekend stay. While I noted the excellent reviews, the property was visually impressive upon arrival. The check in line appeared to be long, more than 30 people ahead of us, but moved extremely quickly. We were checked in within 15 minutes of arrival. The property offered numerous options for restaurants and had 2 Family Marts. The public bath was fantastic. It was very clean and there was a variety of amenities in our room that was refreshed on the second night. Really couldn’t find anything to complain about. The staff were quick and responsive. The surrounding neighborhood was cool to explore. Highly recommend and would definitely return."
