Adorable Cottage Located Outside of Town

This adorable cottage is called The Little House. Featuring a sunny bedroom and open living areas. In the living room, you will find a comfortable L couch that pulls out into a double bed.
Prepare a meal in the full kitchen after a long day of adventuring! The kitchen includes a range stovetop oven, dishwasher, plenty of counters to prep on, and a full-sized refrigerator.
Also located in the kitchen area is a washer and dryer that you are more than welcome to use!
This cottage is a well-cared-for guest home located across the yard to our home. You may hear the laughter of children or be visited by our friendly furry friends- you are sure to feel all the comforts of home in our sweet lil cottage located just off the Seward Highway, 6 miles from town!

Love this little house

Perfect place for me while I explored Seward and Kenai peninsula. House was very clean and had everything I needed. Truly a four star stay!!

Our "Home" while in Seward.

Since my brother lives in Seward, we decided to vacation in beautiful Alaska and spend time with family. While searching online for a place to stay with a kitchen where we could cook family favorites we found "The Little House" and it was a perfect fit for our visit!

Very Nice Home and Location

The house was clean, well organized and had all the items we needed. It was quite and private from others. It's location was perfect for getting into into town and all our hiking activities. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Seward!

This cottage was perfect! Tucked away in a grove of trees, it felt quiet and private even though its on the owners property. We didn’t see anyone while we were there . The place is so nice and roomy for two with bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room! Pleasantly decorated, supplied with everything you might need and extremely clean; it was a joy to come home to this cottage and listen to birds sing. I even saw a varied thrush!

Comfortable, close to everything

The house was comfortable and just a few minutes drive to town, points of interest, and the grocery store. Although the owner lived nearby, we had complete privacy. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice, clean and quiet

I was concerned about renting a property with no reviews. However, this placed met our needs. It was very clean. The towels were very nice, big and fluffy. I was happy to have the washer/dryer, although I ended up not using it. It was very quiet even though it was close to the main road and the Alaska Railroad. The owner was very responsive and friendly and came right over when I had questions about the Direct TV. The TV was very nice, 65" screen if I remember correctly. The WiFi worked great. We had 3 adults in our party. We didn't do a lot of cooking so the kitchen furnishings were adequate. They might be a little sparse if you have 4 people or cook big meals. The guys loved having the coffee machine. My rating would probably be a 4.7 or 4.8; a 4 didn't seem right so I rounded up to a 5.

Sweet little house

What a gem! Slightly outside of Seward next to a lovely large house, this little home will have everything you need. We loved being nestled into the corner of the lot with lots of bird activity. The shades adequately blocked out the Alaskan summer sun, the kitchen included all you needed to prepare any meal, and the living room had a couch that made into an extra lovely bed. We especially loved being greeted by a note on the door. Made us feel extra welcome. The highway and train noise was brief and did not prevent us from sleeping well.
