We very much enjoyed our stay. The view was spectacular and just as listed. The code to get in was incorrect, but Walt responded immediately. We had a minor issue with the hot tub, but again won’t responded immediately and sent a tech over right away, who solve the problem. My only complaint was that there wasn’t a whole lot in the way of cooking, but we didn’t cook that much so it wasn’t really an issue for us. The highlight of our day was that we got to see a black bear up close and personal while we were in the hot tub!

The view is one of the best in the area—nothing obstructed the mountain scenery, and we enjoyed having breakfast every morning on the back porch. The road to the cabin is a bit narrow, but we got used to it quickly.The master shower could use a new showerhead, and the upstairs bathtub needs a new hot/cold handle to better control the water temperature. Some updated cookware, pots, and pans would also be helpful.Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Cabin was perfect. Had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy every aspect of the stay. Ended most nights in the hot tub enjoying a beautiful view. Everything was well kept and cozy with plenty of amenities to get you through. The climb up is a steeper grade so beware in winter months if you don’t have 4x4. Driveway had plenty of room to fit our trucks. Only thing I would say is more dressers/clothing storage is needed but it wasn’t anything to dampen our stay! Definitely recommend.

Mountain getaway

In total honest I booked this cabin for the view and it was beautiful. However I think the photo's need to be updated as the treeline has grown significantly since the listed photos. Still a gorgeous view just mostly blocked now. Cabin was great the appliances could use some updating. We cooked dinner and the stove burners we smoking a lot so i stopped and cleaned them. Definitely need to be comfortable with mountain roads! The main road up was pretty typical but the Blue Tick Way road is really just wide enough for one car and littered with potholes. After the first trek up it was fine just needed to be more cautious. So be comfortable with that when booking. Overall amazing stay and Id certainly recommend this cabin.

We had a great experience, the view was great and the cabin was clean with plenty of room for our family of 5. The only down side is that you can’t just step out the door and go for a walk, the road is steep. Offers a short drive to all the touristy areas.

My sons and I truly enjoyed ourselves at this cabin, the location is up in the mountains and the views from the balconies are just perfect. The cabin was clean, it smelled fresh and the rooms were spacious. The furniture was up to date and comfortable. Our only bother was the showers water pressure could have been stronger. Other than that, PERFECT CABIN!!!

Nice property with a good view

The overall property was very clean and well maintained. Just couple of minor things. We had trouble finding the house on the first night. Would be better to have the number displayed close to the road. The shower could function better in the bedroom with two beds. We felt that comforters were less for the number of people and one of them had a little smell.

Would not stay here again. Cleanliness of property a big concern. It’s an older property needing repairs and updating. Even furniture must be garage sale items. Wobbly legs on table chairs and living room chairs.

Perfect For Us

We were in the area for a wedding. The house had more than enough room for the two of us. We did not spend much time in the room due to wedding activities. The time we did spend the house was comfortable and seemed to have any amenities we needed. Views were stunning from both floors. The only disappointment was we did not see and bears. They are in the area though several friends saw bears right next to this property.

Needs maintenance

The owner was quick to respond to our messages. It was clean but the property needs major upgrades. The view was beautiful from the property though. There was a very large hole in the ceiling with spider webs hanging down. The deck was in poor shape and we were scared to go out on it.

Smoky Mountain Paradise

I absolutely loved this cabin for our getaway in Pigeon Forge. It was in a perfect location less than ten minutes to town and close to the main highway and the Island at Pigeon Forge. The cabin was clean and perfect condition upon arrival. It was stocked with all the essentials on the kitchen and the bathrooms. It felt being at a home away from home. Walt is a fantastic manager and effective communicator. We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and you will too!
